Using our Telephonic Interpreters is very simple!
Once you have signed up, simply dial our toll-free number from anywhere and
our friendly interpreter coordinators will connect you with an interpreter in
the language requested within seconds.
You need no special equipment - only a telephone. Once your account is
activated, you will be given a Access Code. Depending on your
billing and language tracking requirements, we can assign different access codes
for each of your locations or departments.
When you are ready to initiate your Telephonic Interpretation session follow these three simple steps:
- Call our contact center and let our interpreter
coordinator know what language interpreter you need. If you don't know the
language your party speaks, our coordinator will help you to determine it.
- Identify yourself by giving our interpreter coordinator
your Access Code. Let him/her know any special instructions, for
example if you want a particular interpreter or an interpreter who specializes
in a certain terminology. Stay on the line and within seconds an interpreter
will be conferenced in.
- Talk to your interpreter. Feel free to brief your
interpreter about the nature of the call and situation. Let him/her know when
to start the interpretation. At the end of the conversation announce "End of
Call" so your interpreter is free to hang up.
You can also make an interpreter request for a future date. Just let our
operator know the date and time and our interpreter will be connected to you
promptly. For 3-way telephone conferences, give our operator the telephone
number of the person you wish to contact. We will connect you to the interpreter
and conference in your client.
